I have been working with metal for 27yrs, bringing my
background in pastel painting, textile print design and
graphic design into sculptural form.
My inspiration is rooted in nature. Seedpods, insect bodies, aquatic life, color, texture, design, and even scents all transport me into an imaginary world. It's very exciting to forge cold hard steel into fluid organic shapes. My garden sculptures are of fictitious plant species that often engage the viewers imagination and speak to the interconnection between our human experience and the natural world.
Sculptures are available for sale at art shows or by appt.*
Custom work is also available such as gates, railings, trellises, that range from the Art Nouveau to Midcentury Modern aesthetic.
